sampling of coloquial diction in formal verse in which lacks the convoluted similies and metaphors that too often fill the lines of verse. who says poetry can't be just plain fun?

PAPER DOLL DREAMS
broken dreams like torn paper dolls strewn across the floor, and in despair the child cries there begging for some more; such is man--his shattered world--his cries, one can't ignore
